It started with a customer.

A Passenger customer asked for a way to get the same coffees delivered to a group through a subscription. They wanted to have a remote book club, built around coffee.

Everyone could brew the same thing wherever they were, then get together to talk about it.

That request stayed with me. Coffee gives people plenty to talk about, but it’s easier to compare notes when you’re starting with the same thing.

Chapters grew from that idea. This chapter is my way of taking part.

One coffee each month

Each month, I’ll choose a coffee and tell you why. It might be a longtime favorite, a recommendation from someone here, or something I’m curious to try alongside you.

You can order a bag, brew it your way, and come back to share what you think. I’ll post my recipe and impressions, and I’d like to hear yours.

Joining is free. There’s no subscription or automatic delivery. You choose which editions to order.

A conversation worth keeping

You don’t need tasting vocabulary or a particular brewing setup. Tell us what you enjoyed, what you changed, or what you couldn’t quite figure out. An honest “not for me” is useful too.

Between editions, share a recipe, ask a question, or suggest a coffee for a future pick.
